Chengdu Homin Technology Co.,Ltd can be traced back to die centre of Hongming Electric Industrial company which was set up in 1958. Chengdu Hongming Shuangxin Precise Die&Part Co., Ltd. was established in July 2000. The company took stock reform in Sep, 2007 and the name was changed to Chengdu Homin Technology Co.,Ltd. It majors in design, development, production and distribution of precise toolings and components. It also devotes into research and development of precise toolings and components centering on 3C area.
The Company dedicates in researching, absorbing and developing new technology as well as proceeding with technical reconstruction. We have imported nowadays first-class CNC tool-making equipments from Switzerland, Germany and USA etc. Through adoption of CAD/CAM/CAE technology as well as application of principles for design and manufacture in parallel, we actively promote the development and research of high precision, high efficiency and high life-span toolings. The metal stamping base is established through introduction of the first-class high-speed punch. We also introduced precise injection machines, tape packing machine, 3D-MID processing system and automatic continuous reel-to-reel strip selective plating production line with the capability of selectively and fully plating strip materials and parts as well as vibrating and barrel plating precise parts. Our products are also cleaned with ultrasonic and packed with tape&reel. Combined with strict and scientific process control and application of information means such as ERP system, we can meet big volume-production demand to effectively satisfy customer’s need. Based on technical reconstruction and innovation and by taking its advantage of precise tooling design and building, Homin has developed to a high-tech enterprise integrated with precise tooling, precise metal stampings, precise injected and inserted parts and plating production.
Homin attaches great importance to strengthening quality system building and our quality goal is “keep improving and total customer satisfaction”. We actively push forward 5S management and set 6σ quality as our goal. Our company obtained ISO9001 quality system certification In December 1997, QS9000 in March 2003 and TS16949 in June 2006.
Our company is honored of “Chinese High-Tech Enterprise”, “China’s key enterprise of precise stamping die ”, the Excellent Supplier of Motorola, “Chengdu Developing and Scientific Enterprise”, “National Torch Plan Chengdu Electronic Information Industrial Base Key Enterprise”, “Chengdu top fifty Industrial Enterprises in 2006” and we also got national high quality tooling awards for many times. The manufacturing technology of the Electronic Tooling and Inserted Molding Bonding Kinds Precise Part was set as backing project by national innovation foundation in 2004. The Electronic Information Technology Application System Development was placed into national electronic information popularization application plan in 2004. Our products have been listed into Chengdu 3-high Tools and Parts Industrialization Torch Planning Project .We have been recognized as long-term partner of many well-known enterprises in home and abroad.

In 1958, Chengdu Hongming Wireless Appliance Factory was put into production. Tooling Department, the predecessor to Homin was founded in the same year.
In 1963, the factory undertook carbide die development assigned by the Technology Department, the Ministry of Electronics and started the application of carbide die in drawing die.
In 1974, Numeric Controlled Line Cutting Machine was used to process the three pieces of Progressive Die (cavity-retainer plate, punch-retainer plate and stripper plate after quenching) and to improve the precision of die position to 0.015mm.
In 1984, color TV potentiometer production line, pressing and injection molding die were introduced. Technicians were sent to ALPS in Japan to study the die design and manufacturing technology.
In 1989, the company undertook the task of localization of color TV tooling with more some precise equipment on special funds. Research by professional was arranged to achieve the capacity for precision parts and toolings.
In 1990, research on mould CAD/CAM, a national key project was undertaken together with HUST.
In 1992, the company undertook the task of localization of color TV tooling. It introduced the advanced tooling equipment from Germany, Switzerland and US for the die centre. The mass production of precise toolings came as an important contribution to the localization of China color TV tooling.
Starting from 1995, the company produced coordinating tooling for the localization in SOEs like Xianyang Caihong and Dalian Daxian. Hard alloy progressive dies were made in large amount.
At the end of 1996, R&D for lithium ion battery set was conducted and production of components and parts was started.
In 1999, world-class punch, BRUDERER, was introduced from Switzerland for the mass production of precision parts.
In 1999, strategic partnership with Motorola China was established.
In July 2000, Chengdu Homin Precise Die & Parts Co., Ltd was founded.
In December 2000, Motorola “Outstanding Achievement”Award was given by Energy Production Department, Motorola Tianjin.
In 2001, tape packing machine was introduced to enable tape packing production.
In 2002, reel-to-reel strip selective plating production line was introduced to get the capacity for selectively and fully plating strip materials and parts.
In 2002, Motorola Insertion Project Team was set up to ensure the supply of insertion products to BYD and MOTO in the next year.
At the end of 2004, precise injectors were introduced in large amount for the mass production of insertion products.
In 2005, partnership with ITT, Powerlogics, BYD, UTStarcom, AMP TYCO and Central Computer was started.
In 2006, partnership with JPOWER, Motorola and Auto Electronics was established.
In 2007, partnership with NEC, SANYO GS and TWS was established.
In September 2007, the company was renamed Chengdu Homin Technology Co., Ltd.
In 2008, partnership with LG, RIM, DANFOSS, NAPRO and VISTEON was established.
In April 2008, the company moved to the new facility.
